Oftentimes people overlook the part of hard work when they say people got lucky, even I am guilty of this. Yes, i believe there are elements of luck in every man's journey but I do not downplay strategic positioning to get this luck.
The consistency tip could really do the magic. And if I fail despite the consistency, I'll learn something in the process.
I think I agree with you: luck comes to those who show up more. Funny enough, I know people who show up despite not being so good. But they were luckier than those who were good 'in hiding.'

Thinking about it now, it's not a coincidence that I got my first job last year after I started posting consistently on LinkedIn.
I was able to show people what I can do, and I made more friends along the way, one of which recommended me for the job.
Luck, truly, is not necessarily a bad thing.
